It doesn’t surprise me that most people can never lose the last 7lbs (3.2kgs) of weight. If you are down to this very small amount of weight to lose, it means that the balance between the amount of calories you take in and the amount you burn daily is very good. Crossing over this line so that you can create an excess of calories burned and so lose further weight is very tricky. It is a very thin line! The only way possible to cross over this line enough is by combining the 3 keys – metabolism, diet and exercise together. Only then can you create the size of a deficit you need to actually get and see results. Focusing solely on diet or on exercise, it is almost impossible to create enough of a deficit. You would have to go to such extremes with them that you just could not stick to the plan. Further more the stress of this would slow down your metabolism, which ironically enough reduces the very deficit you are trying to create.
Yes – it is only by working on all 3 keys together that you can create the deficit you want to shift the last 7lbs (3.2kgs) of weight and do so in a way that is realistic to stick to and safe and healthy for your body.
